The Gap Between
Training Hard and

What You'll Train

Build the Skills That Define
Big-Game Performance.

Every athlete starts with a baseline assessment. HeadCoach builds a daily programme around your specific development areas.

Confidence

Perform the way you train. Stop second-guessing in the moments that matter most.

Focus

Stay locked in when the game is close, the pressure is real, and distractions are everywhere.

Resilience

Recover from mistakes in seconds, not minutes. One bad moment doesn't define the game.

Self-Control

Stay composed when the ref, the opposition, or the scoreboard is getting to you.

Optimism

Keep going when nothing is going your way. Build mental toughness that holds across a full season.

Competitive Drive

Sharpen the desire to improve and win. Stay motivated from pre-season to the final.

Teamwork

Perform as part of something bigger than yourself. Raise the level of everyone around you.

Self-Awareness

Understand what drives your best performances — and what gets in the way of them.

How It Works

Five Minutes a Day.
Every Day.

Three things happen each day. Each takes seconds. Together they compound into performance you can feel across a full season.

Twice daily — 60 sec
Check In

Rate your mood, energy, and readiness before and after training. Understand the patterns behind your best and worst performances.

Daily — 5 min
Train the Skill

One mental performance strategy targeting the skill your baseline assessment identified as your biggest development area. Builds progressively across the season.

Ongoing
Track Your Habits

Log the foundational habits that compound across a season — sleep, nutrition, recovery, preparation. Small daily inputs. Significant outputs over time.

Athletes on HeadCoach

The habit tracking is one of my favorite uses in the app, I use the tracker by checking it often and picking one of the skills and trying to complete it right then. It is very helpful, it's helping me a lot with doing these important things like breathing and yoga which when i do them it makes my day better.

The Emotional Intelligence strategies have affected my wellbeing on and off the the field. It has boosted my confidence to do new things on the field like dribbling more and trying new and harder things off the field. My final comment is that HeadCoach is very easy to use and it's very useful.

It's encouraging me to take risks — 1v1s, trying harder things on the pitch. Off the field, my confidence when speaking in front of my class has improved. Positive on the field and off.
